The principle of installation. If you want to get 16x127 mm recesses in the legs and tsars, first make devices for sampling them, taking into account the size of your project and with a cutout closed on four sides.

To install the screed parts in the center of the legs and brackets or with a shift, attach a stop rail to the underside of the device. To select a recess in a leg or column, position the cutout of the device at the place where the fastening bar is installed (the stop rail must be pressed against the same corner on all legs). Remove the attachment and use a chisel to cut the wood in the corners of the recess. To select the wood for the hooks of the counter bar, make nests in these places with a depth of 13 mm using a 10 mm drill bit. Drill the guide holes and attach the bar using the longest screws according to the thickness of the leg.

To sample the recesses in the carvings, center the device on the end of the carvings so that the distance from the edges of the cutout to the plates and edges of the part is at least 5 mm. Fix the device to the end and cut the groove in the same way as in the legs. Use a chisel to remove the wood in the corners of the recess. Then drill holes inside it with a diameter of 10 mm and a depth of 3 mm for the protrusions on the back of the bar.
