The role of cryptocurrencies in BGaming

Progressive online slots developer BGaming is slowly starting to introduce its brand to the cryptocurrency gambling market. Thus, most recently, the company has become an official partner of the world's first bitcoin casinos not on gamstop BetBit. Now the Belarusian software producer is implementing a number of other blockchain projects.

This information was confirmed by BGaming director Marina Ostrovtsova. According to her, today it is impossible to compete on an equal footing in the gambling market if a company does not pay proper attention to development in the cryptocurrency sector. That's why the developer was one of the first in the world to offer blockchain-based slots to its customers.

"When everyone in the market was trying to flirt with cryptocurrency, we were already having a very serious affair. That's how it turned into a full-fledged development vector. Nowadays, we may see some cryptocurrencies specifically created for online gaming. These coins allow you to maintain low transaction costs, immediate transfers and greater security," Ostrovtsova said.

She added: "Interest in crypto is still growing and we certainly have our finger on the pulse of the situation. BGaming is increasing its presence in cryptocurrencies. For example, a few weeks ago BGaming started a partnership with BetBit, the world's first bitcoin casino. In the near future, we are going to expand our partnership with another cryptoproject called Wagerx."

At the same time, Marina Ostrovtsova acknowledged that the volatility of digital currencies has a tangible impact on the implementation of the company's core projects. She also called the ever-changing value of some leading cryptocurrencies "a problem".

Regardless, Ostrovtsova believes that over time, this payment method will become almost mainstream in the world: "Many people use blockchain technology, sometimes without even realising it. So it's already an ecosystem that we live in. And yes, there will always be enthusiasm around it.
