• Nearly 40 years after staking their claim as the sleaze kings of the Sunset Strip, L.A. Guns show no signs of slowing down. Rather than coasting on past hits, the band is charging forward with the April 4 release of their 15th studio album, LEOPARD SKIN, via Cleopatra Records. Led by founding guitarist Tracii Guns and vocalist Phil Lewis, the current lineup—rounded out by bassist Johnny Martin, guitarist Ace Von Johnson, and drummer Adam Hamilton—continues to deliver hard-hitting rock with fresh energy. The first single, “Taste It,” is already streaming, and the album promises a mix of their signature grit and classic rock influences, with nods to soul and '70s legends like Joe Walsh and the Stones.

LEOPARD SKIN builds on the momentum of 2023’s BLACK DIAMONDS, marking the band’s fifth studio album since Guns and Lewis reunited in 2017. Tracks range from the stomping opener “Taste It” to funky cuts like “Lucky Motherfucker” and glam-inspired tunes such as “If You Wanna.” Tracii explains the new record came from a more organic, jam-based process that emphasized groove and spontaneity. “Lucky Motherfucker” sums up the band’s outlook—still going strong, still putting out new music, and growing their fanbase nearly four decades in. With no plans to stop, L.A. Guns remains a fierce, evolving force in rock.
