About the Show

Rob Davis has made a career making a name for himself as a fixture of the Rhode Island music scene, as a guitarist, vocalist, solo-performer, sideman, and especially as a bandleader. Performing professionally since his teen years, Rob Davis has entertained tens of thousands across Rhode Island and Southern New England throughout his decade-plus music career.

A summertime fixture on Block Island, Rob performs a wide-array of music, from country classics to modern day hits. A singer-songwriter in his own right, Rob has released multiple original efforts under his own name, including his 2024 Debut EP “August”.

New Jersey runs deep in Rob’s blood. A Jersey native, Rob’s father introduced him to Bruce Springsteen’s music, beginning with “Greetings from Asbury Park, N.J.” up through modern day. Rob cut his teeth on guitar learning Bruce’s music. “Rob Davis plays Springsteen” was hatched not out of necessity, but out of obsession. Flanked by brother Mike Davis, childhood friend Jay Taylor, and a cast of local legends, including Mark Grimm, Richard Ribb, Nate Cronin, Jake Brunelle, and Nick Fede; they present the music as a true band, not a cast of imitators. At every performance, “Rob Davis plays Springsteen” performs a career-spanning set of The Boss’ music, satisfying for the die-hard and casual fan alike.

On March 20, Rob and the band will present an authentic re-creation of the legendary “Hammersmith Odeon, London ‘75” Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band performance, performing that “Born to Run”-era show in its entirety. That portion will be followed by an entire second set of Bruce’s biggest hits and deepest fan favorites. It will surely be a night you won’t soon forget.
