The Harry Potter Soundtrack Orchestra, the HPSO, is a recording and performing ensemble based at The Berklee College of Music, in Boston, Massachusetts. Founded in 2015 by Gabriela Gomez Estevez, HPSO was forged out of a collective desire to deliver the magic of the Harry Potter movies and music to the fans. Since then, HPSO’s prime objective has been to promote and celebrate the soundtrack of the Harry Potter movies by creating spectacular performances that will appeal to Harry Potter fans around the world.
HPSO has carried on the legacy of the Harry Potter series, performing many sold-out shows throughout Boston and the surrounding area. Because of HPSO’s impact on Potter fans everywhere, HPSO has collaborated in performances and film scorings with award-winning film composer, Patrick Doyle (Goblet of Fire), and has also collaborated with Warner Brother Entertainment to promote J.K. Rowling’s Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them (2016). HPSO also serves as an education device and is committed to transforming communities by inspiring and empowering people through the magic of symphonic music. In addition, HPSO collaborates with and provides support to up-and-coming young musicians in Boston to further their artistry by performing and sharing this wondrous music.
