Performed live, his arrangements are exact. Doug's natural ability to channel Davis' sounds and style through his 1947 Martin Committee trumpet and his secret weapon: a custom built pedal board which will produce sounds that will bring you on a musical journey. When Woolverton performs Davis’ hits from the late 60’s through the 70’s, it was in these eras where Miles focused on funky grooves and the versatile sounds of his trumpet while showcasing his band members and their musicianship. Miles used the sound of his trumpet to imitate a lead vocalist, covering pop tunes and radio hits by famed artists like Michael Jackson, Cindy Lauper, and Prince. He arranged and recorded their hits, turning them into complete instrumentals and maintained at the top of the pop charts as an instrumentalist.
