The PGMC is resurrecting the classic sounds of musical icons Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Sammy Davis, Jr. They were three of the coolest cats of all time and they ruled Las Vegas and Hollywood during the 1950’s-1960’s. Director Kim Kuda invites you to sit back, relax and enjoy the velvet tunes of yesteryear: “I’ve Got You Under My Skin,” “Mambo Italiano,” “Night and Day,” and the mesmerizing “All the Things You Are” are just a sample of the songs the chorus will be sharing with you. You will find yourself tapping your foot and singing along to these familiar tunes.
What audiences have come to expect out of the Providence Gay Men’s Chorus concertsis more than just pure entertainment. “The PGMC works very hard to present all of our musical events to mirror our mission of inclusion, acceptance and a positive message for the future,” said Kuda. You’ll just have to see it for yourself.
The Providence Gay Men’s Chorus spring concert series will be performed at 7 p.m. on Friday, June 2nd, 7 p.m. on Saturday, June 3rd, and at 4 p.m. on Sunday, June 4th.
Tickets are $25 ($20 senior) and are available at the door or online at www.provgmc.org. Tickets to this event are not available through the Greenwich Odeum.
